I’ve written quite a bit about Bitcoin Cash on my blog and enjoy digging into the philosophical divide and understanding the arguments on both sides.
In the popular conversation about BTC vs BCH, the actual arguments for Bitcoin Cash are often misrepresented or not represented at all. Most popular cryptocurrency media largely ignores BCH and as a result, a lot of well-meaning people think that it is nefarious. They don’t understand even the basics of the philosophical divide between BCH and BTC.
But there is great content out there covering the case for Bitcoin Cash and the three videos below are a great place to start.
First, a great interview with Ryan Charles came out on Patterson in Pursuit covering the split and the future of Bitcoin Cash.
The previous interview (from August) with Steve and Ryan is also great and worth watching.
Finally, this short video from Ryan shortly after the Segwit 2x hard fork was canceled is one of the best re-frames of the issues with BTC. When you think about Bitcoin without historical baggage, and think of it as if it was new with its current properties (1mb blocksize), it seems like a dumb idea and a big risk to bank so much on the success of the lightning network.
