Popular wisdom is that it is best to start your day with your hardest task (eating the frog). But I’ve found that for me getting a quick win at the start of the day works better. Even if is is a smaller task, getting the momentum allows me to dive into bigger tasks.
When you finish a task quickly at the start of your work day, even if that task is minor and doesn’t require a lot of thinking, it will set you up for an awesome day. It creates a rhythm of completing tasks and gives you a hit of productivity that will fuel you while you take on bigger projects.
