The decisions you make in the morning have a cascading effect over your day. If you choose to hit the snooze button instead of getting up, if you choose to check social media instead of meditating, if you choose to answer an email instead of planning out your tasks, it has a lasting effect on the course of your day.
Getting off course for 20 minutes in the afternoon is not a big deal if you have had a productive morning. But getting off course at the start of the day puts you on your back foot and can make you feel like you’re catching up all day.
Tomorrow morning remember that your decisions will echo into the rest of the day. Choose to be productive and invest in feeling great at the end of the day, not just in the moment.
