Doing two activities, for 15 minutes a day will completely alter the course of your life within 6 months.
They aren’t mystical or earth-shattering rituals, they are simple and easy, but if you approach them with sincerity and stick with them, they will reshape the way you approach life and the results you get from your days.
The two activities are:
- 15 minutes of meditation (in the morning)
- 15 minutes of journaling (in the evening)
By taking time to tune into your feelings in the morning, you create space to think and act (instead of feel and react) throughout the day. This creates a small, but meaningful difference in the way you approach devices for the rest of the day.
By taking the time to write your thoughts on the day in the evening, you learn lessons from your experience and find ways to adjust your actions to create better results. You become an active learner instead of a static script follower.
One day won’t do much, but the compound effect of this 30 minutes over the course of 6 months will make you happier, more effective, more insightful, and probably lead you down a path you would never expect at the outset.
