It is easy to fall into inaction when you can’t see a clear path before you. When you can’t identify where a decision today will lead years down the road, it is easier to stay where you are and not take the risk of changing.
But the sure shot, well-planned path into the future is always a trap. Things change quickly and any life course that doesn’t account for that is a lie (or a government job).
Great things happen when you take a step into the unknown–when you make a step towards what is exciting, even if you don’t know where it leads. If you commit to walking down a path, not knowing where it will take you, you will learn to see and take new pathways a long the way. You can never see all the steps that will lead to your final destination, but you will be able to see the next step, one step at a time.
