I recentely bought the iPhone XS. Prior to now I had been using the iPhone SE which was just about 3 years old. Making the upgrade has been an incredible experience. The size of the phone, the magic of face id, the general feel of it are all exceptional and give you the sense that you are not holding a peice of technology, but actually a work of art.
When I bought my first iPhone in 2012, after a few years of using a Blackberry, what immedietly stood out was the integrity of the phone. It felt whole. Not like the empty plastic combination of parts that was standard with every other phone.
This is even more true of the iPhone today. It has integrity in a pay that no other peice of technology does. Pulling it out of the box and holding it in your hand, it feels like something much greater than a phone. Even though I’ve had it for over a week I still find myself just looking at it and appreciating how well put together it is.
