So many people have their plans derailed because they can’t get past the stage of preparation. They decide they want to start a podcast, buy microphones, talk to a co-host, start writing scripts, and never actually get around to recording and publishing episodes.
Or they come up with a business idea, create an LLC, get a website, come up with a marketing plan, and then never actually talk to anyone to try to make a sale.
The most important thing with any personal project is to simply get started. To jump into and start going, even if it sucks at first. Once you’re moving you’ll have a clearer vision of what you want to change and improve, and you’ll be able to do it without getting stuck.
You can always improve something after you’ve started, but you can’t improve something that doesn’t exist. So stop making excuses, stop waiting for things to be perfect, and just launch the thing you’re working on!
