“This idea sucks, this blog sucks, this project is never going to work”
When I sit down to write my daily posts, I usually start by writing out 10 ideas. Usually there is quite a bit of resistance to it and it takes form in a critical voice in my head saying “these ideas suck”.
I settle on something, start to write, and the resistance mutters “this post sucks”.
I keep writing, get to the end, re-read and edit the post, while that critical voice says “this should be better”.
Then I hit publish.
I arrive at the end of creating something and feel satisfied that once more I didn’t let resistance, and a fear of not being perfect, stop me from creating.
