One thing I’ve learned about myself over years of work is that I do my best, focused work early in the morning and late at night.
Something about the calm of the world and the lack of distractions allows me to focus in and get things done at 6 am or at 10 pm in a way that I almost never can at 11 am or 2 pm.
One of the coolest things about remote work is the possibilities it creates for people to do their best work.
Instead of forcing everyone to show up in an open-concept office from 9-6 and be bombarded by nearly constant distractions, every individual has the power to do their most important work when they work best.
If you are someone who likes to work around people in busy social environments, you can go to cafes or coworking spaces, and even travel to new countries.
If you are someone who needs quiet, then you can create a temple of a home office.
When you have the freedom to learn about when and where you do your best work you have the potential to create way more value and derive way more satisfaction from your day-to-day life.
