It’s easy to get caught in your comfort zone in life. To get in a rhythm and find time flying by. To lose track of some of the things that really make you feel alive.
When we get older and have more and more responsibilities it is tempting to aim our free time towards relaxation. But often when we’re starting to feel run down by the daily stress of life, what we need is not relaxation, but a rush of adventure. Some acute stress from getting outside your comfort zone and trying something new.
Instead if using your weekend on something restorative and practical, go out and burn a bunch of energy doing something adventurous and see how you feel Monday morning.
